Hi, I’m Matt.
Woodworking is in my blood, and I’ve been building things for as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until I studied industrial design at Georgia Tech when I was introduced to the many nuances of furniture design and really fell in love. Naturally, I found wood to be the best medium for my designs.

It varies from project to project, but we typically work with domestic hardwoods such as oak, maple, cherry, ash, and walnut.

For most pieces, we use hard wax oil, which is made of vegetable oils and waxes. It provides a natural and durable finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood. If you have a specific color in mind, we select the wood species that is closest rather than relying on wood stains and artificial coloring.
